Spring Yoga Series – 10 Weeks of Awakening Vitality Through Movement & Breath
In the North East we are looking forward to a warming trend. Before Spring arrives we experience mud season. The light shifts. The earth loosens. Beneath the surface, life begins to rise.
In Ayurveda, this is the season of Kapha — the energy of earth and water. It brings steadiness, moisture, and nourishment, but as winter melts into spring, it can also leave us feeling heavy, slow, or clouded. What accumulated for protection in winter now asks to be stirred, warmed, and awakened.
In this spring yoga session, we will gently kindle that awakening.
Through rhythmic postures and fluid, intelligent movement, we encourage circulation and lymphatic flow — clearing stagnation and inviting lightness back into the body. Like rivers released from ice, energy begins to move again.
Yet the most profound renewal happens in subtler layers.
With a devoted focus on pranayama— the art and science of conscious breathing — we will explore precise, accessible techniques to expand our vitality from within.Prana is life force: the animating current behind every heartbeat, every thought, every impulse toward growth.
How we breathe shapes how we feel and think.
By refining the breath, we enhance oxygen uptake, support the body’s natural production of nitric oxide, and gently rebalance the nervous system. More importantly, we build inner fire — the steady, luminous strength that transforms heaviness into clarity.
As breath awareness becomes a regular practice, it awakens resilience. The mind brightens. The senses sharpen. The heart feels lighter.
This spring, join us in honoring the season’s wisdom:
to move what has been still,
to warm what has been cool,
to breathe new life into body and mind.
Whether you are new to yoga or a longtime practitioner, you’ll be welcomed into a space that honors the rhythms of the season and the intelligence of the body.
